Dr. Deepa Gupta received her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University. She has done her Master’s in ophthalmology from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University. She did extensive 3-year super-specialty training as a senior resident in cataract, cornea, and refractive surgery from Guru Nanak Eye Centre, Delhi. She has also completed her Diploma from the National Board and is a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology, UK. With her vast experience and credentials, Dr. Gupta is considered among the best ophthalmologist in Gurgaon for quality eye care.

She has worked as a cataract, cornea, and refractive surgery consultant with the Centre for Sight for more than 5 yrs. She has worked at Lall eye care centre in gurgaon for last seven years and was head of the department and co partner of cornea and lasik services apart from a high volume cataract surgeon in the same period. She has performed more than 30000 cataract surgeries and more than 5000 lasik and other types of refractive surgeries like ICL implantation. She is well-versed in performing all kinds of cataract surgeries especially no injection, stitch less phacoemulsification with implantation of a variety of intraocular lenses. She is adept at corneal transplants including lamellar corneal transplants such as DALK and DSAEKs. Her wide experience in refractive surgery for the removal of glasses includes customized LASIKs, PRK, I-LASIK, SMILE procedures, and Implantable contact lenses.

Other key areas of interest are diagnosis and keratoconus treatment such as performing C3r, INTACS, and contact lens fitting as well as management of corneal infections i.e. microbial keratitis. She is also skilled in using various lasers in ophthalmology and the management of glaucoma.
